This was the friendliest Marriott we’ve ever stayed at and we were there for 3 nights! Everyone was fun, helpful and attentive. We really appreciate the service from Appolino, Carlson, James, Jackson and night front desk. The Silk Road restaurant was amazing! Thank you all
I stopped in on my lunch break; first time sitting at the bar and I'm glad I did! The aesthetics were nice, food was great but the bartender, Diamond was awesome! She was super friendly and organically funny! And she makes a mean rita! I may have to put this on my list of lunch spots.
I had the opportunity of staying at this location. This is a great secure quiet location that is a hidden gem. I love the renovation of the Bistro that is like no other courtyard. Diamond served my husband and I she is very friendly and her drinks were amazing she is a great investment to the hotel. I will be back
I had an issue with my reservation in a different Marriott. Ashley was able to troubleshoot my problem here and showed kindness and compassion towards my situation. She is an asset to your hotel and deserves a raise. I travel a lot for work and I will definitely stay here again because of her.
I stayed here for 5 nights in December and was overall happy with my experience. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, and I specifically want to shout out Maria at the front desk for going above and beyond to make my stay great. The hotel itself is dated, without much to do in the area, and was undergoing Reno’s while I was there which led to noise and water shutoffs during the day time hours. This wasn’t noted on the Marriott website when I booked which was a bit annoying but the hotel was still overall good value for price. The room was still pleasant and overall it was a positive experience at a place I would stay again.
The rooms have been updated... No carpeting is a huge plus... The staff here is awesome... I have stayed here at least a dozen times... No construction (at least I didn't see any)... The restaurant in the lobby is amazing and the new bar is excellent... I don't feel the current reviews represent this hotel... I always enjoy being here... So centrally located within Houston with zero parking issues...
Stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Houston Rice University while in town checking in on clients in the medical field. The location near Rice University and the Medical Center makes it an easy choice and it stays quiet, which is appreciated after long days. The room was clean and comfortable with good WiFi and a solid workspace. Check in and check out were straightforward and the staff was friendly and helpful without being over the top. Many of my clients in the medical field here, also own homes along 30A, so I am in and out of Houston fairly often. This hotel is reliable, consistent, and convenient, which is why I keep coming back.
Miss Maria was absolutely welcoming & amazing. I will definitely be retuning because of her. We had to move rooms Because of the AC and she Made it a smooth transition. She’s awesome. Mariaaaaa ily
